Ashley Gilbert

Ashley is the Owner/Director of Form and Functional Fitness. He graduated from Murdoch University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Exercise Physiology. Ashley has been working in the fitness industry for over 6 years and has worked in rehabilitation for 4.​

 

Ashley has participated in many different sports including; Australian Rules Football, Baseball, Tennis, Squash, Volleyball, Swimming, Beach Volleyball, Handball, Gaelic Football, Ten-Pin Bowling, Rockclimbing. Playing many of these sports has taken a toll of his body. Ashley discovered sport is not always the best form of exercise for your body. Crossfit is his new passion because you can challenge your body in many different forms and you complete exercises that challenge you in a functional manner. 

The philosophy Ashley abides by is to focus on body movement, by increasing blood flow, increase flexibility and to assist the body by strengthening the weak muscles that cause imbalances in day-to-day tasks.

 

Everyone can benefit from exercise treatments through Ashley, whether you want to be the very best you can be, get back into the swing of exercise or just want to be able to go on that holiday you always wanted to go on. Ashley's exercise physiology background means he can best plan the right exercise routine for you.
